Please add your feedback in the comments section below. NOTE: the watermark displays when exporting images! Be sure to remove your watermark before exporting renderings! Now you can navigate your design and save views using a handy nine square grid - as easy as taking a photo. You'll need to carefully resize your Enscape view window so the edges of the view window align with the ends of the nine square grid as shown below. The Enscape watermark doesn't automatically and proportionately align with your view window. The grid line displays on top of your project in camera mode (as shown below). The Safe Frame mode creates Black Bars at the top or sides of your Enscape view window, allowing you to understand what's exported if you render is still image from Enscape based on your export options. Open your design file, start Enscape, and remove the black skybox (if still displayed). Because the PNG file has a transparent background, everything displays in your Enscape proect view along with the grid line overlay. The Enscape watermark feature allows you to overlay the Enscape window with an image. Open the Enscape Window Settings and add the PNG grid image as a Watermark (being sure to select the center button). You can download the sample PNG file here. The remaining image will only show the gridlines and crop corners (below). Next, select the dark regions of the image and delete. First, crop the image to only display the view window of the video editor. Next, open your favorite photo editing tool ( Pixelmator Pro FTW), and open the screenshot making sure the image has a transparent background. Take a screenshot of your computer screen. Open the video editor and select the Show Gridlines option. But will need a neutral background, which will be removed from the screenshot using a photo editor.īegin by opening an empty project and adding a black image as a skybox as shown below. We're going to take a screenshot of the Enscape video grid to create a similar camera, grid to be used in camera mode. Since Enscape is less like rendering and more like Photography, it would also be useful to have a grid in camera mode. In the image below, I've taken a screenshot of an iPhone camera mode, displaying a grid overlay. It's likely that your mobile phone has a camera grid overlay. Having a camera grid overlay in a camera is super useful. Unfortunately, this option is not available outside of video editor mode. You can turn on this feature by checking the Show Gridlines box (below). There's a very useful camera grid overlay in Enscape video mode. With a few pics and clicks, you can quickly and easily add a camera grid overlay to your live photo mode in Enscape - similar to the grid in the video editor.
